PERIODIC INSPECTION OF COMPRESSOR AND AIR TANK

Compressor equipment and air tank are used extensively to supply compressed air within the facility and to keep processes moving.
The compressor and air tank, which are considered in the pressure vessel category, should be periodically maintained and should receive a scientific examination report at least once a year. In cases where more than one air tank is connected, a separate evaluation is made for each air tank.
Compressor and air tank periodic inspection and control is of great importance in terms of facility safety. In accordance with the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment, it has been made mandatory to carry out inspections and controls at least once a year. It is also necessary to keep records within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Measures to be Taken in Workplace Buildings and Extensions.
