FORKLIFT PERIODIC INSPECTION

Forklifts are used extensively in the facility during the process of heavy loads, for the transportation of the finished products to the warehouses or during the shipment stages of the products. There are different types of forklifts as internal combustion engine or electrical.
Forklifts evaluated in the category of lifting and transmission equipment must be periodically maintained and must receive a scientific inspection report at least once a year. Forklift users must be certified and care should be taken to use only certified personnel.
Periodic inspection and control of forklifts is of great importance in terms of facility safety. In accordance with the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment, it has been made mandatory to carry out inspections and controls at least once a year. It is also necessary to keep records within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Measures to be Taken in Workplace Buildings and Extensions.
